Go to Udemy, register, pick a course, and start learning with a small fee. They have a wide range of courses to choose from, but most of them are IT and business development related.
For the Teacher:
If you’re a teacher, you can create an instructor profile and your content of courses on the platforms. Whenever a student purchases your course, you earn a portion of the revenue.
Every learner who signs up for a Udemy account can buy or enroll in courses, they get saved to a page called My Learning. You can see all your courses here, and also the progress you’ve made with them. If you aren’t sure you’re ready to sign up for them, you can save courses to a wishlist.
You can explore courses, read a detailed description of them, including an info box with the duration of the course, number of assets the instructor provides, and so forth.
As I said earlier Udemy has tons of courses, you’ve to pay for most of them but not for all courses. They’ve more than 5 hundred courses free of cost.
Go to the search bar and type “free courses”. In the next, they’ll get you the list of free courses, or you can try here
In the free version of courses, you can only view their online video content. You don’t get the Certificate of completion. Can’t ask questions if you have a problem understanding the content in the Q&A or message the instructor directly. You can always enroll in paid courses, and get all the facilities they provide.
Udemy has many courses. You can browse courses by searching, or by navigating through the categories. The main category like- development, It & Software, Photography, Health, and Fitness, etc. have several sub-categories to choose from.
Each category has a mix of trending and popular sub-category courses to choose from.
Most courses will cost you $25 to $200 if you choose to buy them at full price. However, you can often get them at discount prices or totally without any cost with a coupon.
Udemy instructors create coupon codes for their own courses for marketing purposes, but those codes only valid for a week or a maximum of 31 days.
Sometimes, Udemy itself will regularly publish a sitewide coupon code. Each one expires within a few days/weeks.
There are many ways to get Udemy courses totally free or cheap. We’ll discuss some of the ways here.
- Check The List of Free Udemy Courses:
Udemy regularly changes the price of their courses, so you need to check the list of the free courses. Maybe you can find your desired course free.
- Find Udemy Coupon Code:
As we told earlier, Udemy coupon codes come from the Course Instructors or Udemy itself.
Instructors often create codes to promote their courses that work only for a week or a maximum of 31 days.
On the other hand, Udemy HQ creates codes pretty rarely. When they did that they tend to coincide with sitewide sales.
The best way to score a coupon code for a particular course is via the instructor. So check the instructor’s social media regularly. To check that go to the instructor’s profile on Udemy and check for their social media accounts links. There is a very good chance you’ll get the coupon code posted to their social media if the instructor has created a coupon for their courses within the last week or month. If you haven’t found a coupon for the course, you can try simply by asking the instructor directly.
- Subscribe For Promotional Emails:
After trying all the step above, the course you want still expensive, you can follow this step below:
Add the course to your wishlist on Udemy simply clicking the heart icon alongside the course you want. Subscribe to promotional emails via your account settings and wait for the course to go on sale. Whenever Udemy has a sale, you’ll get notified by email announcement.
When you got the email, go check your Wishlist on Udemy, there’s a good chance that the course you want will be part of the sale.
You can always check for a special sale on special occasions like Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, World Teachers’ Day, etc. This way, you’ll not have to wait for a long period of time to grab a Udemy course at a discounted price.
