Namecheap is a web hosting company. It was founded all the way back in 2000. They have a long-range of names for new domains. And you can also choose from some existing domain names as well, prices are reasonable too. As a result, one might think of Namecheap as a domain provider service, but as I mentioned it’s a web hosting company so they also offer web hosting services and they are in this business for a long time. As of right now, they have over 3 million consumers. And the company manages over 11 million domains. Namecheap also sells SSL certificates, privacy protection services, and many other services. They provide affordable access to everything you need to run a website.

Digital Ocean is a cloud computing vendor that provides developers with cloud services that help to deploy and scale applications that run simultaneously on multiple computers. Between Namecheap VPS & Digital Ocean VPC, Which is the better choice for beginners?

VPS vs VPC

Namecheap VPS has budget-friendly shared hosting plans. Prices for domain names are very reasonable. you could also get free domain names and privacy protection. If you use Namecheap you can implement unlimited email addresses. As for programming language support, there are three options and they are Perl, Ruby, and Python. No matter what pans you choose you will get unmetered bandwidth. And if you don’t like it you can always get your money (it’s a 30-day offer). dedicated IP is very cheap. In addition, you will get full root access on VPS panels but Namecheap has limited VPS panels. And it has servers only in the UK and in the US. whereas Digital Ocean has servers all over the world.

DigitalOcean’s main website is decently above average, it takes about 5 seconds to fully load the site. Including all other hosting providers, they take about an average of 88 requests but here is the thing, Digital Ocean took about a hundred requests. GTmetrix does not usually see this. As a result, the cloud service we are talking about scored higher compared to many other hosting providers. Server quality is very good. Especially pretty much every advanced are going to like it, It can be tricky sometimes if you are a beginner. Deployment is very easy but it takes a lot of time to set up the server. As for security, Digital Ocean provides a very secure server but pricing could be a little less. CPanel is complicated, but that’s okay because you are getting a very good service and great security. It offers 99.99% uptime for all services and it’s guaranteed.

Cloud hosting provides you great server power and flexibility. VPS hosting is less efficient and limited in its level of resources available. SO, both VPS hosting a cloud has its advantages and disadvantages. But for a beginner, I think VPS is the right choice.
